A preview of the interface to host a Cosmos based dVPN node on the Sentinel Network, from the pre-release version of the Handyhost DWeb Control Panel.

This revolutionary initiative is being driven by Alex Smith and Steven_McKie, and allows a user to:

1) Mine the dVPN token by using bandwidth resource

2) Mine the SIA token by using storage resource

3) Mine the AKT token by using computing resource

The Official Sentinel Cosmos based dVPN node is yet to be released, and will be released on the 25th of this month along with the Sentinel v3 dVPN CLI Client.

This CLI client will allow users to access to the Sentinel Cosmos Based dVPN Network through the command line interface and will be followed by the v3 dVPN application.

Over the past 24 hours, Sentinel #dVPN nodes have been launched on the sentinelhub-2 with users paying for bandwidth and node hosts being rewarded in $DVPN.

Sentinel's Cosmos based sovereign blockchain is now processing IBC transfers as well as 'status updates' from WireGuardVPN-based dVPN nodes hosted on Sentinel.

Nodes hosted on Sentinel communicate with its blockchain periodically to indicate their status and other properties.


Simply put, dVPN applications built on Sentinel will only go down if Sentinel's chain goes down.

The user's application will query the blockchain in order to populate the list of available nodes and various other data about the node.

Sentinel's dVPN nodes on Cosmos are being designed to be compatible with any Open-WRT enabled router, and users will not be restricted to purchasing affiliated routers and can use their own.

Indigitus VPN has the first router supporting Sentinel's Wireguard dVPN exit-nodes on Cosmos are now open-sourced and are being hosted by community members for users of the CLI dVPN client.

Sentinel is excited to announce its much-awaited dVPN incentive programs on its own native Hub that the community can participate in. These incentive programs are funded in DVPN tokens and these programs will be made available immediately following the new Desktop client release. This post provides an introduction to the various incentive programs and there will be follow-on articles with more thorough details.

Sentinel is now a fully Cosmos native project, and in the coming months all bandwidth providers operating on Sentinel's ETH based dVPN will transition over fully to Sentinel's Cosmos based dVPNs.

The Sentinel mainnet launched on March 27, 2021, and people who have still not swapped their tokens yet have sufficient time to swap their tokens to Sentinel's Cosmos based main net, and stake their $DVPN tokens to generate staking rewards.
