Cosmo dVPN Update: Enhanced Payment Options & Public Launch Timeline

The Cosmo dVPN website is now live at http://cosmodvpn.com, and users are invited to test the app on Android, iOS, and Mac devices ahead of its public launch.

The Cosmo dVPN public launch will happen after the in-app payment system transitions from being restricted to $ATOM alone, to direct fiat payment options.

By next week, Cosmo dVPN will support direct fiat payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, credit cards) alongside $ATOM, eliminating unnecessary barriers for mainstream adoption.

Previously, the only payment option for dVPN services in Cosmo dVPN has been $ATOM and an in-app on-ramp allows users to purchase ATOM using Apple Pay and Google Pay.

With this modification to allow direct fiat payments, the Cosmo dVPN has the ability to increase its ATOM alignment by creating value accrual to the ATOM token by using future fiat revenues from dVPN subscriptions to purchase ATOM and stake it/provide liquidity.

Sentinel contributors have been working hard to update the Cosmo dVPN by this weekend for its public launch, by adding a direct fiat payment method and removing the $ATOM on-ramp.
