What do you guys think about sponsored posts on the channel? Would love to hear your thoughts for the future.
To clarify how I have handled and intend to continue handling sponsored posts going forward:
To clarify how I have handled and intend to continue handling sponsored posts going forward:
- Only tools and projects that actually fit the channel. Privacy-focused, FOSS-adjacent, stuff I genuinely think you’d want to hear about.
- No gambling, crypto gambling, porn, or anything sketchy.
- Sponsored posts will always be clearly labeled so there's no confusion.
- They won't flood the channel. Regular posts stay the same, promos are occasional.
Basically the bar for a sponsor is the same as the bar for anything else I post here. If I wouldn't feature it normally, I won't take money to feature it either.
