Peoples time is valuable and attention spans short. Thanks to slave drivers and tictok. So cut some vids down. Good for sharing

Is this a possible orientation? With the N, S, E, W as the corners? We need more research before trying to move forward with model

How you know when you hit the \G/ spot

East- corner not Southeast or Northeast

Terrible job lining up that equator. I don’t do this shit for a living but we’ll work on it

Maybe more accurate. The landmass size as compared to the rest of the box is ? Map is MGRS

Flight times are an okay indication. But the absolute best indication of which direction an aircraft is traveling is if there are layovers, which most long flights will have, what direction is the stop in relative to the takeoff point. An aircraft traveling from Japan to Hawaii wouldn’t stop in San Francisco if you could just cross the dateline

The whole airlines industry is a scam. I trust the airplane travel speed data as much as the amount of jet fuel needed to make the trip

I encourage everyone to do this. Flight times aren’t always accurate because of layovers, airplane speed etc. But go to Expedia or any other booking site and search flights that should be quick shots across the dateline. Look at the layovers. Look at other dates as well. We have stops in LAX, Philippines, on and on. https://www.expedia.com/Flights-Search?leg1=from%3AHonolulu%2C%20HI%20%28HNL-Daniel%20K.%20Inouye%20Intl.%29%2Cto%3AMelbourne%2C%20VIC%20%28MEL-Tullamarine%29%2Cdeparture%3A5%2F10%2F2022TANYT&mode=search&options=carrier%3A%2A%2Ccabinclass%3A%2Cmaxhops%3A1%2Cnopenalty%3AN&passengers=adults%3A1%2Cchildren%3A0%2Cinfantinlap%3AN&sortOrde--
