आज फिर वो ही समय आया है, इतिहास कहीं दोहराया है
हाँ, समय तारीक़ तो ज़रूर, पर सोच नहीं बदल पाया है..

बोलने की यहाँ इजाज़त कहाँ, लिखना तक वर्जित कर डाला है!
सही-गलत की यहाँ कोई पूछ नहीं,
मोहल्ले को श्मशान बना डाला है!

ये कोई शायरी की साहब बात नहीं,
घुटन है ऐसे जीने में
यहाँ इंसाफ की कोई मिसाल नहीं, युद्ध जैसे इस रवैये में !
फ़ुरसत मिले तो पूछना खुद से..,
क्या जुर्म हुआ कि खुद के आशियाने का ये हाल बना डाला है!
कुछ अफवाहों का जाल जैसे किसी ने तलकीन की हो,
कुछ पिछले वाकिये जो सच को झूठ और झूठ को सच बनाने की काम कर रहें हो,
कुछ अमली जिंदगी की आवाज़-ऐ-हकीकत जो हकुमत तक मानो पहुँच न रही हो,
और कुछ ऐसे तथ्य जो मानो आवाम तक ही पहुंचने न दिये जा रहे हों ।।
दोष नही मैंं देता एक को, शहर सब ने आग-सा जलाया है।
मारने वाला जो भी हो, जीने का हक़ सबने पाया है।।
आज फिर वो ही समय आया है, इतिहास कहीं दोहराया है।

आज सुबह से मौसम का मिज़ाज ज़रा बदला है
हवाओं ने हरकत की है पर कान सबके बंद हैं
इल्म की फज़ीलत का मज़ाक उड़ा है,
यहाँ खड़े सब और फर्क किसी को नहीं पड़ा है
बयाँ करने के लिए लफ्ज़ कहाँ, मुँह से धुआँ जो निकला है
फर्क तो पड़ा है इस मौसम में, किसी जिंदगी को जो छीना गया है।
पहले ज़मीन पर एक तख्त की तसवीर बनायी गयी
उसपर फिर एक भूखी आत्मा थी सुलायी गयी
जब ठंड और भूक से उसकी आँख खुली
तो रोते रोते परी की फिर कहानी थी सुनाई गयी
बदन गरम, सीने में दर्द, तबियत नासाज़ थी
इल्म नहीं था इलाज का, पैसे नहीं थे गोली के,
आज सुबह..., जनाजे में एक जिंदगी थी ले जायी गयी।।
मौसम का मिज़ाज ज़रा बदला है।

This reminds me of the time when we are together no matter you have left me, the time we spent was BEAUTIFUL I don't regret having you.
This reminds me of my old best friend, we didn't met each other since years but the time we spent together was BEAUTIFUL.
I feel the word BEAUTIFUL is not only compliment for your outer beauty but also your soul, so the next time you feel like complimenting the best women of your life, say YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL ❤️
