While we remember and salute our policemen, soldiers, commandos who sacrificed their lives in the anti-terrorist operation(s), we also extend our gratitude with huge respect to common people who lost their lives while saving others'!

This is the story of a common person who selflessly comes forward, in the real life, with no uniform, badge and duty, but with the costliest, "loyalty" towards the nation and towards you!
This "ghazal"(poetry) is about all those who have lost someone(something) whom(which) they wanted to have forever, and thus remain in search of them with disappointment every single day for rest of the whole life! Of course in reality, to sustain, one makes the living by working whole day but is never "satisfied" as the loss is unrecoverable and thus, the silent conversation between him and (him) the water continues every single evening!

"एक शख्स है जो ज़रा परेशान सा दिखता है,
जैसे नाराज़ हो किसी से!"

Socha Na tha, Kabhi koi aisa din bhi aayega

Jo insaan nibhata rha rishtedaari, sab ussi ko dhoka de jayega
This "nazm"(poetry) is the story of the society where their own one(s) are lost due to a common reason of death, COVID. The number is actually not so easily predictable because around 1.5L(India) is just a mere death count so far, while their society which is alive makes in total a huge number and really an inseparable and non-ignorant part of us.

The journey of life is nothing less than a journey passing through the cities and hence, the people of a new city (2021) are welcoming at this point in time but how far is the celebration from our end, without even remembering our saddened part of society and our people, right, justifiable, selfless and most importantly, responsible!

Happy New Year!
