A unique event is knocking at your door. SCORP ETHIOPIA has brought you a certifying full day training session on learning  disability intended to introduce you as a medical students to awareness and practical interventional steps regarding specific learning disabilities.

The training will be given in person. We invite medical students from every local charter to join us.

•  Introduction to learning disabilities
•  Diagnosis, assessment, referral, and documentation of learning disabilities
•  Intervention strategies, methods, techniques, and resources for teaching and supporting children with learning disabilities.
•  Counselling skills,  communication skills, collaboration skills, advocacy skills, and ethical issues related to working with children with learning disabilities.

Future Surgeons' Programme 2024 Application

International Surgical Week (ISW), hosted by the International Society of Surgery (ISS-SIC) will take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in August 2024.

The International Association of Student Surgical Societies (IASSS) has the honour of hosting 24 Future Surgeons as delegates at the conference each year. These delegates represent the most prestigious and influential medical students and surgical trainees from around the world and provide them with the opportunity to network and brush shoulders with the world's leading surgeons.

Eligibility criteria:
1) Undergraduates in medicine and surgery; junior doctors; surgical trainees (registrars/residents)
2) Contributions made to the field of surgery and/or surgical research
3) Good academic standing/performance
4) Occupies leadership positions within the field of surgery
5) Member of the IASSS

The application process consists of a paper application (fulfilled by submitting the form below) and a formal interview (via the Zoom platform).

Applicants have to complete both stages of the application, in full, for their application to be valid. Once the application process is complete, applicants will be notified of the outcome of their application via email.
