Historicity of Sanskrit :-
Warning ⚠️:- We don't support to any Linguistic conflicts
Sanskrit clearly existed before the Tamil. Tamil in it's formative stages (inscriptions of around 3rd century BCE) bought many loan words of Sanskritic origin.
Thus , Sanskrit could be termed as Lingua-Primordium of the Indian Subcontinent.
संस्कृत अवश्य ही तमिल से प्राचीन भाषा है | जब तृतीय शताब्दी ईसापूर्व अभिलेखीय युग में तमिल का विकास हो रहा था , उस समय भी तमिल में कई सारे संस्कृतोद्भव शब्दों का समन्वय था |
अतः संस्कृत कहीं न कहीं भारतीय उपमहाद्वीप की आद्यभाषा कही जाने योग्य है |

Antiquity of Murtipuja :- Part 1
Since the first songs , the image-worshipping is being done on the land of Bharatvarsha. As the time passes , myths spread that it was non-vedic sects like Jains and Buddhists who started this whole thing.
Let's check some historical references for more clarification.
Ashtadhyayi 5/3/99-100 talks about Images which were worshipped but not sold. Rishi Patanjali in his Mahabhasya confirms that as worshipping of images of Shiva , Skanda , Vaishakha etc. and Mauryans started to sell Images. Kashika Vritti also states the former.
Legendary Historian VS Agrawala also believes the same. By showing multiple possibilities of many kinds of Images , he deals with both inside and outside views/objects of Maharishi Panini's Sutra which undoubtedly refers to image worshipping of various deities in his timeline (naming of those images was done without using कन् प्रत्यय).

Female Education at the time of Mahābhāsyākār Patanjali
Maharishi Patanjali describes about Upādhyāyī or the female teacher , a girl of Aupagavi school and a brahmani who study Kāśakṛtsna doctrines (a grammarian).
Such references can be seen in other contemporary texts like , Mahāvastu of Mahāsāṃghika ; describing a Vaiśya girl , brilliant enough to discuss Śāstras and a Śūdra girl , who was talented.
It seems like the ancients were well awared of female education , at least in Śuṅga period.
महर्षि पतंजलि ने उपाध्यायी (महिला शिक्षिका), औपगवी शाखा की एक लड़की और काशकृत्स्न (एक वैयाकरण) का अध्ययन करने वाली एक ब्राह्मणी के बारे में वर्णन किया है। ऐसे ही अन्य समकालीन संदर्भ ; महासंघिका के महावस्तु जैसे ग्रंथों में देखे जा सकते हैं ; जिसमें एक वैश्यकन्या का वर्णन है, जो शास्त्रों पर चर्चा करने में सक्षम थी और एक शूद्रा जो प्रतिभाशाली थी।
प्रतीत होता है कि शुंगकालीन समाज महिलाओं की शिक्षा को लेकर सजग रहता था।
