Were Sarmanes of Indica Buddhists ? Many Neo Buddhists say that Sarmanes actually mentioned in the Megasthenes indica are Buddhists. Let's check the facts Special features of them : 1. Believers of Yama ( Hades ) 2. Used to have Rice and barley as main…

Drugs used for Surgery in Ancient Bharat
As per Sushruta Samhita Sutrasthana 17.11 & Ashtanga Hridaya Sutrasthana 27.15 - these things must be given in order to avoid pain , but only to those who aren't able to resist this and to those who drink.
I feel a sense of pride after knowing Why Bharat was called Vishwaguru in ancient times !!! 🙏🙏

AstraVerse in Ancient Bharat : Part 5
Vashishta dhanurveda , one of the oldest treatise on Dhanurveda , the upaveda of Yajurveda ; mentions :
Listen , these were all primitive type. Do not confuse them with modern high tech weapons.
On the antiquity of the text ; Vashisht Dhanurveda cannot be assigned after 10th century. It must be at least before this.

Behavior of Brahmins as described by Apollonius of Tyana !!
Apollonius came to Bharat around 1900 years back. He described that there are two sects of philosopher/sages in Bharat:
1. Brahmins
2. Hyrcanians [ hylobioi sarmanes possibly ]
He was talking to an Indian who asked him " What do you think about us Apollonius ? Do you think we know more than yourself ? "
Apollonius stayed with Brahmins for 4 months. He learned about their all philosophies , even the secretive ones.

Apollonius replied - " I consider your Lore [ knowledge ] is more deep , advanced and divine than us { Greeks }.
If I learnt nothing from here , this means I have learnt everything. "
He literally said that knowledge of Bharat is most superior of all , even so much that he don't even need to learn anything if he didn't learn something from here.
Apollonius stayed with Brahmins for 4 months. He learned about their all philosophies , even the secretive ones.
When he was going back , Brahmins give him guide , camels embraced him and declared - " Whether alive or dead you will be treated just like a god by all since after you attain knowledge. "

EASTER SPECIAL POST !!!!!
Mahabharat Shanti Parva 265. 8-9
