Lord Shiva performing his Tandav Nritya , the cosmic dance !!
In this Gupta period bust , Lord Shiva is represented in his Mahanata Form ( नटराज ) , performing a move ( करणम् ) exactly as mentioned in the Gandharvediya Natya Shastra of Bharat Muni.
जयत्वदभ्रविभ्रम भ्रमद्भुजंगमस्फुरद्ध गद्धगद्विनिर्गमत्कराल भाल हव्यवाट्।

Many of Us confuse Tandava as a destructive dance only , But in reality there are around 10 different forms of Tandava ( widely accepted ) varing from Destruction ( रौद्र तांडव नृत्य एवं संहार तांडव नृत्य ) to Bliss ( आनंद तांडव नृत्य , तांडव + लास्य , उमा तांडव नृत्य ).....

Lord Vishnu in his Anantshayan Form !!
Lord Vishnu in his Anantshayan Form , where he is lying on the eternal Naga Ananta ( संकर्षण/आदिशेष ) can be seen clearly. Lord Brahma is arising from his Navel lotus 🪷
Devi Lakshmi and An attendent ( possibly Devarishi Narada ) is also there.

Ashvagosha's Buddhacharitam
Ashvagosha was a Buddhist philosopher , of 120 CE who wrote a book named Buddhacharita , in which he describe the life and teachings of Lord Buddha ; from his birth to Nirvana.
Also he mentions the Ancestors of Lord Rama like Sagar , Gadhi {vishvamitra father} , Shura and King Shauri.
Later , he also describes that Royal Priest { राजगुरु } of KIng Shuddhodhan and Maharishi Asita are called ब्रह्मवेत्ता or the one who knows the Parambrahman

Ashvagosha's Buddhacharitam
Ashvagosha was a Buddhist philosopher , of 120 CE who wrote a book named Buddhacharita , in which he describe the life and teachings of Lord Buddha ; from his birth to Nirvana.
In the very beginning only , He describes that Veda's Shakhas were classified by Vyasa Maharishi , as told by the Son of Saraswati
He also mentions some of the Vedic Rishis , for example : Bhrigu , Shukra , Vashishth , Even Valmiki , Chyavan , Vishwamitra , Atri and Shishya of Maharishi Bharadwaja i.e. Atreya Punarvasu { a major rishi in the lineage of Ayurveda }...
Also he mentions the Ancestors of Lord Rama like Sagar , Gadhi {vishvamitra father} , Shura and King Shauri.

Some Clear and strong evidences of Ramayana !!
The Odyssey , the 7th century BCE old poem written by Homer is believed to be the Greek equivalent of Ramayana. Some of western scholars try to misinterpret the ramayana just to show that it was written after and had greek influence in it , which was later debunked with proper evidences.
Hence we can conclude that Ramayan was written much earlier than it , so even If someone around 1900 YA spread some misconceptions about it , historicity of Ramayan is proven.

This whole " ramayan got inspiration from homer's odyssey " myth was spread in 1st Century CE by a writer named Dio Chrysostom ; who said -
" it is said that Homer's poetry is sung even in India, where they have translated it into their own speech and tongue. "
By using this narrative A Weber spread the lies about Ramayan.
Thankfully This whole false narrative was later debunked by Dr Winternietz and Gauranganath Banerjee.
Hence we can conclude that Ramayan was written much earlier than it , so even If someone around 1900 YA spread some misconceptions about it , historicity of Ramayan is proven.

Apsaras : Devi or Hoors ??
Let's view this again by archaeological POV. Here are some researches from American Institute for Indian Studies...
Sringara Rasa or the rasa of love is often associated with Apsaras , even in Sanskrit Kavyas like Abhijnana Shakuntalam or Kadambari by Banabhatta. Love towards their husbands/Lovers or even their child and graceful moves as per described in Natya shastra shows their excellency in Nritya.
This was the description of Apsaras as per archaeology,

Various forms of Apsara represents different emotion and phase of life. Prem and Vatsalya are the most elite ones in the category of rasa and hence Sringara is known as RasRaja
