Each Child spends 18-20 years of early life studying in a school & college, with a objective of getting a job in a premier institution in the "career of Choice". This career option is mostly given to the youth by parents, society & situation. Too much weightage is given to schooling & college, as if it's the college that decides what we shall become or do in life.
All Parents & elders who have lived this entire career cycle can easily say, that educational degrees do help us get the first job & that's it, after that everything depends on the individual. If that degree had been forced, & is not a part of passion, then the youth starts facing a lot of mental chaos. The life becomes burden & job becomes a purpose for monetary survival only.
We mostly see that later on, many of them are forced to change their fields & the youth keeps missing the work in the field of passion. No matter how hard the passion is resisted, the youth keeps facing internal turmoil.
This can be avoided by taking few basic steps ;
1) Don't focus on Jobs only, post college, as the only career option.
2) Identify the child's passion very early in life.
3) Let the children spend more time in the field of passion. Let them read, write, practice more in the field of passion.
4) Cut off the social media time to max 2 hours per week only.
5) Reading in the field of passion must become a habit. Must be rewarded & recognised to focus on, in the field of identified passion(s).
6) Selection of Undergraduate & Post Graduate courses & location must be in the field of passion only
7) Never push the child to take & consume education loan it harms the youth & stresses up their early life.
8) Education with debt kills the self esteem of the children very early in life it pushes them to do a lot of wrong due to repayment pressures of such loan. All decisions, they take get wrong & spoil their lives.
9) Don't push the children to do a particular course or go into a particular campus or to a particular country, just because others are doing it.
10) The college ranking won't help the child in the future.
11) Motivate the Children to challenge all they read & practice.
12) Innovation & Creativity in their field of identified passion, shall build their lives. Anything else is a waste of time.
13) Passion identification is the most important step in the lives of children.
14) If they need help in passion self-introspection, School & Parents must provide them that help.
15) Help them become self employed & must get real life experience as an intern, very early in life. Earlier they experience the real world, better it is.
16) Effective education is about nourishing passion and not about college grades.
17) Education must never end. Self-education in the field of passion(s) shall have to be nurtured for the lifetime. Else they won't remain relevant even in the field of passion.
