π» Ephemeral Messages
β’ Bots can now send ephemeral group messages that are visible only to a specific user β ideal for welcome messages, whispers, summaries and more.
β’ Out of the box, ephemeral messages support most media types.
β’ Bot commands can now be marked as ephemeral, letting users discretely reach out to bots in groups.
β’ Bots can easily reply to ephemeral messages or delete them before they expire.
π Rich Messages
β’ Bots can now build outgoing rich messages directly from structured entity blocks, as an alternative to Markdown or HTML.
β’ Rich messages using Markdown or HTML can now explicitly attach embedded media like photos, videos, animations and more.
π¬ Communities
β’ Introduced initial support for Communities β several groups, channels, and bots linked together around a shared topic or audience.
β’ Bots can already check which Community a chat belongs to and detect relevant service messages.
β’ And more, see the full changelog for details:
https://core.telegram.org/bots/api-changelog#july-14-2026
β Warning: Starting July 20, 2026, Mini App methods will be restricted to the respective Mini App domain. Developers can opt out through the @BotFather Mini App. Read more here.

I'm doing something crazy now, I didn't know this would be possible 15 years ago when I thought about it, but now, with AI's help it became a reality. I used Claude Code to disassemble and analyze the MS-DOS game that was released in 1991 "Dangerous Dave in a Haunted Mansion" and rewrite the engine in JS/HTML. It reads the original game's assets - levels, animations; it only extracted sounds into JSON strings and a few other things. But the engine is fully new and works identically. Fixed all of the bugs, polishing a few last things.
The next step is to add mobile controls for the touch screen.
--
A bigger goal is to fully extract the game's assets and convert them to modern editable formats, perhaps upscale images and ideally replace all proprietary stuff with something custom + create a map editor.

A few tips:
1) "F" button β fullscreen
2) "P" button β pause
3) You need to hold the jump button to jump higher
4) To open doors and enter them, press "UP" arrow
5) If you play on mobile, don't tap the d-pad, just hold your finger and slide around

I've made an auto-transcriber-translator bot-service (runs on your real Telegram account).
Interprets any incoming voice messages on your GPU/CPU locally (or anywhere where you install it).
Also you can reply "t" to any other voice/round/video/mp3/ogg message and it'll transcribe it as well.
It consists of two parts:
1)
2)

Easy setup, all in docker. Need to get dev keys for the bot from https://my.telegram.org
