Roll to roll sputtering process - really interesting experience in my collection of processes. Ability to apply metals on foil always fascinating for me and really useful in microelectronics. I have a few patents based on this process and still remember this beast of the machine.

Reflecting on my recent visit to Prusa Research. 🏭
It was a privilege to witness full-scale 3D printer manufacturing at such a high level. Beyond the impressive automation and quality control, the highlight was discussing the industry with the founder.
What impressed me most was the Prusa Core One. In a market full of "closed" systems, Prusa continues to offer a great balance—high-end capabilities at a fair price point, while keeping the printer open for modifications.
Highly inspired by the craftsmanship and the community-first approach.

The reality of scaling production: Making tough choices 🛠️

Choosing equipment for your factory is never easy. You want the best tech, but you always have to balance the spreadsheets.
During my research on wire bonders, F&S Bondtec stood out immediately. I was deeply impressed by their engineering and the versatility of their machines. Even though we eventually went a different route due to budget constraints, F&S remains a benchmark for me.
If you’re in the market for a bonder that delivers uncompromising quality, these guys are the leaders for a reason. No regrets exploring their tech!

Best for showing the connection between your work and the final product.
Bringing a product like the Oticon Zeal to life takes more than just an idea—it takes rigorous engineering and a seamless transition from design to the factory floor. 🛠️
I’m proud to have played a role in the NPI cycle for this launch, specifically focusing on the System in Package (SiP) development and production implementation. Seeing these intricate parts move from the lab to a finished product that helps people hear better is incredibly rewarding.
The Zeal is a powerhouse, featuring advanced noise reduction and TwinLink technology—all packed into a tiny, efficient SiP.
Onward to the next challenge! 🚀
