🏛️[Mauryan Empire]🏛️

The Mauryan Empire (322 BCE – 185 BCE), founded by Chandragupta Maurya, was a powerful force that united most of the Indian subcontinent, stretching as far as modern-day Iran. 🗺️

Under leaders like Chandragupta, Bindusara, & Ashoka the Great, the empire saw unmatched military conquests, strategic governance, & cultural transformation.

🔸 Chandragupta Maurya: Founder of the empire, guided by Chanakya. Overthrew the Nandas & established the capital at Pataliputra.
🔸 Ashoka: Known for his Kalinga conquest & later embracing Buddhism to advocate for non-violence (Ahimsa) & moral governance.

🏹 Decline: The empire weakened post-Ashoka, culminating with the assassination of Brihadratha in 184 BCE by his commander, Pushyamitra Shunga.

UPSC Questions Are Not Random – They Are Strategic

The UPSC exam is not just any test. It’s the gateway to the most prestigious government positions in the country. Naturally, nothing in the question paper is without logic. Every question is crafted with purpose.

General Studies, for instance - the questions are designed to test your grasp of topics that are as general as they are relevant. The key is to know what to study and why - and that’s where Current Affairs becomes your guiding structure.

In my Current Affairs Course for Prelims, I help you break down exactly what you need to focus on, cutting through the noise and teaching what’s truly important.

Forget bulky compilations. I’ve got you covered with crisp 1-pagers for your final revision.

See you there.

Mistakes in UPSC Prep
In life, mistakes may prove you're trying. But in UPSC preparation, mistakes can cost you a whole year.

Going after Multiple Sources
Reading Everything Under the Sun
Not Analyzing the Tests Enough
Ignoring CSAT
Self-decided limit on the number of questions attempt

The competition is relentless. 10 lakh+ aspirants, 1 exam, and only 900 get in. Every mistake matters.

🔴 Prelims is NOT a gamble. You can crack it with the right strategy. But only if you stop repeating the same errors and follow a tested path.

Don’t let a small misstep derail your journey.
