የአላህ መልዕክተኛ ﷺ አንድን ሰው እጅ ጨብጠው ሰላም ሲሉ ያ ሰላም ያሉት ሰው ቀድሞ የራሱን እጅ እስካላስለቀቀ ድረስ እሳቸው መጀመሪያ እጃቸውን በፍፁም አያስለቅቁም ነበር።

(በሰላምታውም ወቅት) ያ ሰው ፊቱን ወደ ሌላ አቅጣጫ እስካላዞረ ድረስ፣ እሳቸው ፊታቸውን ከእሱ ላይ በፍጹም ወደ ሌላ አቅጣጫ አያዞሩም ነበር።"

Ibn Taymiyah once wrote:

[ما رأيت شيئاً يغذي العقل والروح ويحفظ الـجسم ويضمن السعادة أكثـر من إدامة النظر فـي كتاب الله تعـالى]

I have never seen anything which nourishes the intellect and soul, preserves the body, and ensures happiness more than consistently reading from Allah's Book.

أصبحنا وأصبح الملك لله رب العالمين، اللهم إني أسألك خير هذا اليوم : فتحه، ونصره، ونوره وبركته، وهداه، وأعوذ بك من شرما فيه وشر ما بعده

Salamah ibn Dīnār (رحمه الله) said:

شيئان إذا عمِلتَ بهما أصَبْتَ بهما خيرَ الدنيا والآخرة:

تعمل ما تكره إذا أحبَّه الله،

وتترك ما تُحِب إذا كرهه الله.

“Two things, if you act upon them, you will attain the good of this world and the Hereafter:

That you do what you dislike if Allah loves it and that you leave what you love if Allah dislikes it.”
