I did not know this, but based on this mortgage calculator interest rates are higher when the purchase price of the home is lower!

Example is:
$1.2M Mortgage rate is 4.93%
$90K Mortgage rate is 6.534%
If the 90k Mortgage rate is 4.93%, the monthly payment is reduced by nearly 20% (or $100)!
