When I get up in the morning, I try to always remember to thank the Lord for letting me wake up and thank Him for the day and everything in it. Tomorrow is not promised, so everyday we wake up this side of the dirt is a gift. And I ask Him to give me what to pray for and to pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18. I was going to suggest reading those couple of verses, but you should go ahead and read the whole chapter. I try to read from the bible every day, even if it's just for a little while. And not just read, but study and pray that I will really take it into my heart. It's amazing how as you spend more time in the Word how much He will reveal to you. The world has changed greatly in the just the past year. Now, more than ever, believers need to cling to the Father and ask His help to bring the lost into the fold and to help raise each other up. Pray about everything and anything. He wants us to come to Him like little children. There is nothing you can say that He doesn't want to hear. May the peace that comes from the Lord be unto all of you today. God bless
Good morning yall!
We worked until midnight last night getting the rabbitry moved to the back of the backyard as well as getting the gravity fed waterer setup. This should be their final home until I get a colony house built.

Remember it's Easter weekend be sure to spend some time with family and thank God for his sacrifice, thank him for showing all of us grace and mercy!

Yall have a blessed day
Apologies in the previous video if it isn't playing. I will get it fixed
Happy Easter yall!
Praise God that Christ is risen!!!

God has blessed us this weekend with the first chickens ever hatched on our farm! Normally we buy day old chicks but we decided to try hatching some out. At last count we had 6. We will be ordering 100 shortly. Yall have a blessed day!
Thanks for watching. I hope it's not too boring! Hay for the goats will also go out in the morning if needed. But the feeder was full. As there gets to be more grass, they will eat less and less hay. Good green grass will fatten them up quick
Hatching chicks as we speak. I saw this one come out
This is a video of worm grunting from a friend of mine I thought yall might get a kick out of it
Watching this mother hen makes me smile and nearly get teary eyed. She is so protective of and so tender towards these babies. There was one sitting on her back, but I couldn't get a photo. If another hen gets too close, they regret it immediately! She has about 15 chicks she's looking after. The other hen is still on the nest and has 3 more hatching and about 4 or 5 eggs besides. I get a little worried about them, but this experience of letting the mamas take care of them instead of them going in the brooder is a great experience. I've already learned a lot and what to do better next time. Another hen has gone broody, so I gave her some eggs tonight.
I hope y'all have had a good day. Thank you to everyone who has subscribed or taken an interest in the happenings here on the farmstead. We really appreciate you guys!
Well God keeps blessing this Farmstead with babies this spring!
