Global Shield (GS) Plan:
▪️Pakistan, Ghana and Bangladesh will be among the first recipients of funding from a G7 ‘Global Shield’ initiative to provide funding to countries suffering climate disasters, the programme announced at the COP27 summit in Egypt. Hence statement 1 is correct.

The Governor is the chief executive head of the state as well as the agent of the Central government in the state, thereby exercising a dual role in the Indian political system.
