Today in Welsh history… 1st March is ST. DAVID'S DAY…
St. David, the patron saint of Wales, is celebrated in Wales on March 1st by wearing a daffodil or leek and preparing traditional Welsh dishes such as cawl and Welsh cakes. Many children also wear traditional costumes to school. Church services are held, and the national flag and St. David’s flag are both widely displayed. St. David's Day is not a public holiday, but in recent years there has been a St. David's Day Parade in Cardiff.

Should the proposed energy price rise come about in April then it’s going to come to a head. It’ll be impossible for people to heat their homes, bills around £300-500 per month are expected.
It’s gonna come down to “listen, I’m gonna pay you what I paid last year, you can take it or leave it.”
Mass disobedience + pressure on your MP for our ‘leaders’ to grow a backbone and impose a *realistic* price cap on energy. Something that should’ve been done years ago.

Israel is segregating Ukrainian refugees by whether they're Jewish or not:
"For a non-Jewish Ukrainian refugee with no Israeli relatives, he must find an Israeli citizen who agrees to vouch for him. The guarantor must post a deposit of 10,000 shekels (nearly 3,000 euros) and ensure, here too, that the refugee leaves as soon as the fighting in Ukraine ends."

Just met an old friend in Seacroft from when I used to work at Aldi. Just left Aldi himself but we had a catch-up.
He reminded me of a Deputy Store Manager who I blasted in my leaving message in the group chat for lording it over people while maintaining a TikTok like a child. 😂 Apparently everyone had a good laugh over it and she left shortly after.
