A Long Day in Long Eaton
A two-demo day for the hard-working activists of PA East Midlands. We began the day in Long Eaton with our own demo which activists had been leafleting in support of for the last 3 weeks. High spirits and great speeches brought Long Eaton's marketplace to a standstill.
Activists demonstrated outstanding bravery in the face of a baying mob of unwashed lefties, showing local people that you don't have to be cowed by system shills and paid rent-a-mob.
We were supported by the public alongside members of the fantastic Save Kegworth team who've been campaigning in their own village against the occupation of a nearby hotel. As one good deed deserves another we finished up in Long Eaton and made our way down to Kegworth to support their demonstration!

Notorious crude drag act Dirt Dykes attempted to turn a Leeds church into a den of sin under the guise of a fundraiser. The latest post on their social media shows a... thing with "Jesus was a dyke" scrawled on its body.
This attempted humiliation of sacred ground was thwarted by an email campaign by PA activists. Great job!

On Sunday April 23rd, St. George's Day, PA East Midlands hosted a demonstration in the town of Long Eaton.
Long Eaton has been blighted by two migrant hotels, the Novotel and Best Western. Residents have complained of harassment and intimidation, with police dismissing claims as racist and refusing to follow up.

Laura and I make such a good team. I did the initial edit of the above video, carving out the best bits from everyone's speeches and making sense of the phone footage from about 5 different people. 😅
Then Laura came in, made some final adjustments, swapped some things around to create more of a narrative and tightened some edits up.
She then tagged me back in to do transitions, subtitles and graphics.

Today activists from Patriotic Alternative Yorkshire and North-West joined with Alek Yerbury of the National Support Detachment to assist the British Democrats Chairman Dr. James Lewthwaite ahead of this weeks council elections.
Dr. Lewthwaite is standing as the local candidate for Wyke in West Yorkshire. This marks the third year we've assisted in leafleting and we continue to strengthen the relationship between the British Democrats and Patriotic Alternative.
