PA Activists from all over met up in the Peaks for a November scramble.
Despite the drizzly overcast weather and slippery rock we persevered through the excellent grade 3 scrambles known as Elbow and Matterhorn ridges.
In short order we were rewarded for our efforts with a bright dash of sunshine to light the rest of the way.

One of our guys got 190 yesterday so we just had to keep him on his toes after climbing this evening 😉

How can anyone say an annual influx of a population the size of Sheffield, year after year after year, is sustainable in the slightest.
By the time infrastructure projects are completed, they’re having to be redone because 3 years have passed and 1.5 million more people are here. A-roads are starting to look like motorways as more and more lanes are added on. Motorways are losing their life-saving hard shoulder just so we can force more bodies through the arteries of our country. We’re at full-bore, building 40,000 houses a year on every available bit of land including flood plains and agricultural.
It will never stop until we make it stop and I can only hope it won’t be too late for our land to recover when we do.
The best answer the left can provide is ‘just stop oil’. Fuck off. This whole thing needs tearing down and a new order brought in, one with blood and soil as it’s priority.

Just next to Leeds Uni picking up some cash for a job I did and the unions are striking over librarian pay (I think).
Talked to the lady who was bagging up signs and apparently they have a store cupboard at the Uni where they keep all the signs and Unison here drove in from elsewhere to lend a bunch as well.
It’s amazing what you can do when you’re well funded.
Sitting on the wall as they all filed off was funny too. Lots of BLM badges, trans pride etc.
