السؤال: يقول أرجو أن تُفسِّروا الآية في قولهِ -تباركَ وتعالى-: (وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ وَإِنَّهَا لَكَبِيرَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى الْخَاشِعِينَ).

الجواب: نعم، إذا ضاقَ بكَ الأمر فاستعن عليهِ بالصبر أولاً ثُمَّ بالصلاة لأنَّ الصلاة تُعينُ على تحمُّل المَشقَّة (وَاسْتَعِينُوا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلَاةِ ۚ إِنَّ اللهَ مَعَ الصَابِرِين)، وكانَ النَّبِيُّ -صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلّم- إذا حَزَبَهُ أمرٌ أو ضاقَ بهِ أمرٌ يفزعُ إلى الصلاة، ويقول: «يَا بِلَالُ، أَقِمْ الصَّلَاةَ أَرِحْنَا بِهَا».

Tafsir of the verse: And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] | Shaykh Salih ibn Fawzan al-Fawzan حفظه الله تعالى

Question: The questioner says: I would like for you to explain the verse in the statement of Allah the Blessed and Exalted: And seek help through patience and prayer, and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive [to Allah] (Soorah Al-Baqarah 2:45)

Answer: yes, If an affair becomes difficult upon you, seek help through patience first, then with the prayer, because the prayer will assist you in bearing difficulty. (Allah said) Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, Allah is with the patient. (Soorah Al-Baqarah 2:153) The Prophet peace be upon him, if an affair became serious upon him, or an affair became difficult for him, he would rush to the prayer and say: O Bilal, call for the establishment of the prayer, relieve us with it.
