🟩Al-Imam The reviver of the religion, Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab -Rahimahullaah- said:

'Indeed most of the major sins of the heart, for example ar-Riyyah (Showing off), pride, envy, leaving off Tawwakal (reliance upon Allaah), Ikhlaas (Sincerity) as well as other matters, could stain a person whilst he does not even know, whilst perhaps he is cautious of the outwardly lesser sins, but he is neglectful of these major sins.'

‏قال الإمام المجدد محمد بن عبدالوهاب - رحمه الله تعالى - :
💫« فإن أكثر الكبائر القلبية مثل الرياء والكبر والحسد وترك التوكل والإخلاص وغير ذلك ؛ قد يتلطخ بها الرجل وهو لا يشعر ، ولعله يتورع عن بعض الصغائر الظاهرة ، وهو في غفلة عن هذه العظائم » .

Sh. ‘Arafāt Muhammadī (حفظه الله) ⁦ @Arafatbinhassan⁩:

‎‘Abdullah ibn Mas'ud (رضي الله عنه) said:

‎"Salvation lies in two things, and destruction lies in two things: Salvation is in (sincere) intention and intellect. Destruction is in despair and self-admiration."

‎This narration is classified as "Hasan" It from "Az-Zuhd" by Waki' b. Al Jarrāh #352.

‎"Intellect" here means sensible minds & intelligence, because they prevent their owner from engaging in what is hideous.

Since Yusuf -alayhi sallam- was characterized with these characteristics they caused him to have stability in all his affairs and the ability to fulfill what he would face in his present occupation.

Imām ibn al-Qayyim, may Allāh have mercy upon him, said:

"The truthful one does not feel lonely when his companions are few in number, or (even) if he has no companionship, when his heart feels the companionship of the foremost predecessors; those whom Allāh has bestowed his bounty upon, from the prophets, the truthful ones, the martyrs and the righteous. They are indeed an excellent companionship.

Therefore, if the slave is alone in his pursuit (of knowledge), then this is a sign of the truthfulness of his pursuit."

❄Shaykh ul-Islaam Ibn Taymeeyah Rahimahullaah said:

🧩'There is no doubt that Adhkaar and Duas are from the best types of worship.

The Prophetic Duas and Adhkaar are the best Dhikr and Dua which a cautious person has concern with.

He follows them upon the path of peace and security, achieves by it goodness and repels evils which a person cannot express in speech, and a person cannot encompass it.

The Adhkaar other than the Prophetic Adhkaar may perhaps be prohibited or perhaps it is disliked, or perhaps it may contain Shirk by which most of the people are not guided, the discussion and details are lengthy.

It is not allowed for anyone to specify types of Adhkaar and Dua for the people other than which are mentioned in the Sunnah and to make them as a regular worship which the people constantly practice.

In fact this is innovating in the religion for which Allaah has not given permission.'

*تحذير من الابتداع في الذكر والدعاء*

❄قال شيخ الإسلام ابن تيمية:

🧩" لا ريب أن الأذكار والدعوات من أفضل العبادات، *والأدعية والأذكار النبوية* هي أفضل ما يتحراه المتحري من الذكر والدعاء، وسالكها على سبيل أمان وسلامة، ويحصل بها من الخير ودفع الشرور ما لا يعبر عنه لسان، ولا يحيط به إنسان، وما سواها من الأذكار قد يكون محرما، وقد يكون مكروها، وقد يكون فيه شرك مما لا يهتدي إليه أكثر الناس، وهي جملة يطول تفصيلها.
وليس لأحد أن يخصص للناس نوعا من الأذكار والأدعية غير المسنون ويجعلها عبادة راتبة يواظب الناس عليها؛ بل هذا ابتداع دين لم يأذن الله.

❄شیخ الاسلام ابن تیمیہ رحمہ اللہ فرماتے ہیں:

🧩"بے شک اذکار اور دعائیں بہترین عبادات میں سے ہیں، اور نبوی دعائیں اور اذکار وہ بہترین اذکار اور دعائیں ہیں جنہیں ایک تلاش کرنے والا تلاش کرتا ہے، اور ان کو اختیار کرنے والا امن و سلامتی کے راستے پر ہے، اور ان کی وجہ سے اسے جو خیر حاصل ہوتا ہے اور جو شر اس سے دور ہوتے ہیں،  اس کو نہ زبان بیان کر سکتی ہے نہ ہی انسان اس کا احاطہ کر سکتا ہے۔ اور ان کے سوا دوسرے اذکار کبھی حرام ہوتے ہیں، کبھی مکروہ ہوتے ہیں، اور کبھی ان میں شرک ہوتا ہے جو اکثر لوگوں کو سمجھ میں نہیں آتا، اور یہ ایک ایسی بات ہے جس کی تفصیل بہت طویل ہے۔
اور کسی کو بھی یہ حق نہیں ہے کہ وہ لوگوں کے لئے کسی بھی قسم کے  ایسے اذکار اور دعائیں مخصوص اور مقرر کرے جو مسنون نہیں ہیں اور ان کو ایک ایسی  مستقل اور باقاعدہ عبادت بنا دے جس پر لوگ پابندی سے عمل کریں؛ بلکہ یہ دین میں بدعت ایجاد کرنا ہے جس کی اللہ نے اجازت نہیں دی۔"
