In The Name of Allah, The Most Merciful, The Bestower of Mercy.
Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim [may Allah have mercy upon him] said:
The utterance of the Shahadah during the final moments of one’s life serves as a cleansing of evil deeds. This is because the person who testifies at the time of their departure from this world does so with unwavering certainty and a deep understanding of its profound significance. All worldly desires come to a halt, and the once rebellious soul becomes meek and submissive, having abandoned its disobedience and embraced humility. The attachment to the materialistic aspects of life and its allurements fades away, as the soul finds itself in the presence of its Creator, the Originator, and the true Protector. The soul humbles itself, filled with hope for forgiveness, mercy, and pardon, belief in the absolute Oneness of Allah, and distances from Shirk and its falsehood. Consequently, all the wishes and preoccupations that once consumed the soul cease to exist, and its sole concern becomes the meeting with the One it is certain to encounter (i.e. Allah).
The individual directs all focus towards Allah, turning to Him with complete soul and desire, submitting solely to Him both internally and externally. The person’s inner and outer actions reflect this dedication, leading them to sincerely proclaim: “There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah.” Their heart releases all attachments to anything other than Allah, as worldly matters fade away in anticipation of standing before Him. The longing for worldly pleasures diminishes, replaced by a heart filled with thoughts of the afterlife, becoming the centre of their vision while the material world fades into oblivion. When this genuine declaration is their final act, it serves to cleanse them of sins. This is because they approach Allah with a truthful and pure testimony, where their outward actions align (with the intentions of their heart and soul). If an individual were to give this testimony during a period of well-being, they would not have given much significance to worldly desires. Instead, they would have devoted themselves solely to Allah. However, this testimony was made with a heart consumed by desires, a love for life, and the pursuit of its sustenance.

Allah تعالى describes the life of this world as “enjoyment of delusion (متاع الغرور),” an accurate description of a life spent attaining things that begin depreciating value as soon as you attain them. That is the nature of this life. Anything you attain from it only increases in you a desire for even more.
Is it not logical then, to spend what Allah has given to you in this world from wealth and time and blessings to attain the everlasting pleasure He has prepared for you in His paradise?
Be sincere in all your actions and seek your reward from Allah! What ever you attain from this life will be worthless tomorrow.

The Great Rewards of Performing the Night Prayer and a Closer Look at the Meaning of Al-Muqantareen
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
"Whoever stands (in night prayer) with ten verses will not be recorded among the negligent. Whoever stands with a hundred verses will be recorded among the devout. And whoever stands with a thousand verses will be recorded among those who receive immense rewards (Al-Muqantareen)."
This Hadith was narrated by Abu Hurairah (رضي الله عنه) and is reported in Sunan Abu Dawood (1398) and Musnad Ahmad (5/182). It was graded as Hasan (good) by Shaykh al-Albani in "Silsilat al-Ahadith al-Sahihah" (644).
According to "Lisan al-Arab" (Classical Arabic Dictionary) by Ibn Manzur, "Qintar" (قنطار) means a large amount of wealth.
Similarly, Allah سبحانه وتعالى mentions in the Qur'an:
"Beautified for people is the love of that which they desire - of women and children, heaped-up sums of gold and silver (Qanatir), fine branded horses, and cattle and tilled land. That is the enjoyment of the worldly life, but Allah has with Him the best return (i.e. Paradise)."
(Surah Al-Imran, 3:14).
Several scholars have discussed the term "Muqantareen" mentioned in the Hadiths. Among them, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani, in his commentary "Fath al-Bari" on Sahih al-Bukhari, explains that "Muqantareen" represents the vast rewards that Allah promises for certain deeds.
Therefore, "Muqantareen" are those who receive great rewards from Allah, like a vast treasure.
And Allah knows best.

The Beauty of a Good Ending: Striving for the Best End in This Life.
| بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
Assalam Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
"إِنَّمَا الْأَعْمَالُ بِالْخَوَاتِيمِ"
"Verily, deeds are judged by their endings." [Sahih Al-Bukhari, Hadith 6607].
And Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) said in His Book, the Qur’an:
"يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ"
"O you who have believed, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims [in submission to Him]." [Surah Al-Imran, 3:102].
Imam Ibn Kathir (may Allah have mercy on him), said whilst explaining this:
"This means, adhere to Islam, remain in it, and continue performing righteous deeds until you meet Allah in that state. This command encourages us to stay strong in our faith and actions, so we remain on the right path until the end."
[Tafsir Ibn Kathir on Surah Al-Imran, 3:102]
May Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) grant us all a good ending and the highest places in Paradise. Aameen.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan.

🔥 If that’s the Case for one who Neglected Just 1 Sajdah, then what About the one who Neglects the Entire Salaah? 🚫
✍️ Shaykh al-‘Allamah Zayd al-Madkhali (may Allah have mercy on him):
"And if the Shaytan was expelled and banished just because he neglected performing just one prostration that he was commanded with, then what do you think (O intelligent ones) about the punishment of the one who refrains from performing the five daily prayers in every day and night amongst which there are thirty-four obligatory prostrations?"

Being Blessed Wherever One Is
Allah the all-Mighty tells us in His Generous Book, about the Statement of Prophet Isa (‘alayhis salaam, peace be upon him):
وَجَعَلَنِي مُبَارَكًا أَيْنَ مَا كُنتُ
"And He has made me blessed wherever I am" (Quran 19:31).
Imam Ibn Kathir mentions that being "blessed" means that Prophet Isa (‘alayhis salaam, peace be upon him) was a source of benefit and guidance to others through his teachings and miracles. He was continuously engaged in acts of worship, spreading the message of Allah, and bringing people closer to the truth.
Imam As-Sa’di mentions that this demonstrates Prophet Isa’s constant engagement in good deeds and acts that bring benefit to others. This includes enjoining what is good, forbidding what is wrong, and spreading knowledge and mercy.
[From the tafāsīr (explantions) of those respective Imams - Quran 19:31]
A Supplication that Corresponds to the Words of Prophet Isa (‘alayhis salaam, peace be upon him):
اللهم اجعلني مباركًا أينما كنت
Allahumma aj‘alni mubārakan ayna mā kuntu.
"O Allah, make me blessed wherever I am."
In this du’a, we are asking Allah to make us blessed, and useful to others and a teacher of good to them, and for Allah Almighty to bless us in our words and deeds at every time and place. To also be abundant in goodness, and for growth and increase in that goodness, which Allah has allowed us to seek.
May Allah make us all sources of blessing and goodness in our lives, families, and communities. Aameen.
