Eid al-Adha is close inshaallah and another opportunity for khair and sadaqah has come, alhamdulilah!

Many families here do not have the capabilities to purchase a sheep for eid. Many don't even have enough food to eat daily. I know of many families like this allahu mustaan.

*Abdullah bin `Amr bin Al-`as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: A man asked Messenger of Allah (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam), “Which act in Islam is the best?” He (sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam) replied, “To feed (the poor and the needy) and to greet those whom you know and those you do not know.”*

I would like to set up a small project, with a goal to purchase some sheep to give to poor families this Eid. You can purchase a sheep from £120 to £150, depending on size and other factors

*Update* - Barakallahu feekoum for all your help with my project to try purchase a house for the family with disabled children. I am still collecting for that and anything I recieve is being put to the side untill we get close to our target inshaallah. We are just short of £2000 currently. If we can't reach the goal, I will look into paying rent in a better area for the family long term inshaallah.
