Assalamu alaykoum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

I am raising money for a brother I know, here in Morocco. He has a family of 5, and lives in a small village near Tetouan. The brother used to work as a builder and a farmer, although he would not earn very much. However, due to his illness, he has been unable to work for a while.

Earlier this year he was suddenly diagnosed with stomach cancer. He has become very frail and has lost a tremendous amount of weight in a short space of time. This illness has impacted his life greatly - physically, mentally and financially.

The treatment he needs is urgent surgery to remove half of his stomach. This surgery must be done to limit the spread of the cancer. However, due to his financial situation, he does not have the means to pay for this surgery.

The surgery costs about £10000. This is a huge sum but if we all donate a little, I believe we will be able to reach this amount inshaallah. I will be contacting the doctor in charge of the brother and giving him the money personally inshaallah.
