*RAMADAN FOOD PACK MOROCCO*

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

After a successful operation last Ramadan where our brother Yassin and his family distributed the equivalent of 11k of food pack, by the permission and blessing of Allah , we would like to repeat the distribution this Ramadan 1442 in the South of Morroco .


This year we would be looking to raise money for food parcels for Moroccan families in their local town of Guelmim and those further up north as we have become aware of families and orphans in the north who are also in need.

We aim to send out mainly food parcels and possibly cash and clothes for those who need that since some are in need of other things besides food, in shaa Allah.


Ramadhaan Family Food Pack will be :

*10kg sack whole wheat flour*
65 dirhams
*10kg sack couscous*
45 dirhams
*10kg sack barley*
45 dirhams
*1 litre olive oil*
50 dirhams
*5 litres cooking oil*
55 dirhams
*1 box of green tea* (600 grams)
50 dirhams
*2kg of dates*
40 dirhams

The total cost of a large family pack is approximately 350 dirhams = *£30 GBP* for 1 large family food pack which will last a family 1 month inshaAllaah.

If you can read 20 pages a day from the mushaf, you will have completed the whole Quran in Ramadaan.

‎Tip: Time yourself to see how long it takes you to read one page from the mushaf, then multiply that by 20. Then divide that time into 1,2,3 or 4 sittings etc. وبالله التوفيق

*Markaz us-Sunnah Announcement*

بسم الله الرحمـٰن الرحيم

After much thought and consideration for the safety of our community, taraweeh this Ramadan will be held at Markaz us-Sunnah for *brothers only* as well as children above the age of 12.

There will be no sisters for taraweeh this year due to the social distancing guidelines only allowing a limited number of people to attend at one time.

The sisters' area will remain open from Dhuhr until Maghrib. It will then be closed immediately after Maghrib. It will also remain closed for Jumu’ah.

For Iftar, there will be a small parcel of snacks available but no food will be served this year throughout Ramadan. We ask you to be patient with us during these difficult times.

When attending, we ask you to please observe the following rules:

• Do not attend if you or any of your family members have symptoms of COVID

• Maintain social distancing at all times in the Markaz

• Wear a mask at all times while in the Markaz

• Bring your own prayer mats

• Use the hand sanitisers provided

• Please perform your wudhu at home

Please understand that there will be limited spaces due to social distancing and that attendance will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. We will close the doors once we reach full capacity so please arrive early to avoid disappointment.
