The Prophet [ﷺ] said about fasting on the day of ’Arafah for those not performing the Haj:
❝It expiates sins of the previous year as well as the following year.❞
[Reported By Muslim, (No. 1250) | Translated By Abū Haatim M. Farooq]
On the authority of ‘Aeysha that the Messenger of Allaah [ﷺ] said:
❝There is no other day in which Allaah frees more slaves from the fire than the Day of ‘Arafah. Indeed, He comes close to them then boasts about them to the Angels and then He says: 'What do these people want?'❞
[Silsilah Ahadeeth As-Saheehah of Shaykh Al-Albaani, (No. 2551) | Translated By Abbas Abu Yahya Miraath Al-Anbiyya]

Tomorrow is the 9️⃣th day of #DhulHijjah and the Day of #Arrafah .
It is mustahabb to fast on the day of ‘Arafah for the one who is not in ‘Arafah and when asked about it he ﷺ said “It expiates for the past and coming years.” [Muslim]
PS - Allowed to fast even on Friday alone!
