Masjid Ahlus-Sunnah Project

As salaamu alaikum warahmatulahi wabarakatuh,

On December 25th, 2021 we approached
Shaykh Hassan As-Somali

We approached him after Fajr prayer and requested for a meeting to discuss the musalla that the Salafis in Fort Wayne are seeking to open. Before continuing the conversation he asked us "why open a musalla and not a masjid?" After furthering the conversation with shaykh Hassan and receiving beneficial advice from him, we have come to conclusion that we will seek to open a masjid In Sha Allah. We thank Allah and ask him to reward the sheikh for that beneficial and much needed seating and may Allah bless this noble cause.

With that being said, we believe that it would be in the best interest of the community to establish this masjid to have a place for worship and studying according to the Quran and sunnah with the understanding of the righteous pious predecessors. This is the way of the salaf and we will follow them.
