‎- Text: The evidence for an-Nadhr (vows) is the saying of Allāh, the Most High, “They fulfil their vows and they fear a day whose evil is widespread.” [Sūrah al-Insān 76:7]
‎- Explanation of Shaykh al-Fawzān (حفظه الله).
‎- The meaning of an-Nadhr.
‎- Proof that it is binding upon a person to carry out what he has vowed to do (in the obedience of Allāh).
‎- The vow of disobedience.
‎- Explanation of Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalī (رحمه الله).
‎- The impermissibility of directing this act of worship to other than Allāh.
‎- The unconditional (muṭlaq) and conditional/restricted vow (muqayyid), with examples.

‎- Gathering between Allāh’s praise for those who fulfil their vows and the ḥadīth dispraising vows.

‎- Explanation of Shaykh ‘Ubayd (رحمه الله).

‎- The legislated expiation for the one who is incapable of fulfilling an act of obedience he vowed to do.
‎- What is upon the one who vowed to do an act of disobedience.
