In the San Nicolás neighborhood stands this elegant building, with its dome facing the Obelisk of Buenos Aires.
Built in the 1930s, it is located on the corner of Cerrito and Lavalle streets.
It was designed by the Argentine architect Valentín Meyer Brodsky, who graduated with a gold medal from the School of Architecture at the University of Buenos Aires in 1918. This architect also co-designed, with Estanislao Pirovano, the Alvear Hotel, which opened in 1932.
