Gold up 1% on reports that US-Iran was signed

The prices of gold and silver climbed by more than 1% on Thursday after a report claimed that the United States and Iran had already signed their memorandum of understanding remotely, bringing the deal into effect. Traders also digested yesterday's decision by the US Federal Reserve to leave its interest rates unchanged.

Gold rose by 1.09% to go for $4,303.98 per ounce at 2:29 am ET, and silver grew by 1.27% to $68.79 per ounce a minute later. Meanwhile, platinum declined by 0.20% and went for $1,759.05 per ounce at 2:30 am ET, while palladium dipped by 0.63% to $1,319.16 per ounce at 2:31 am ET.
