قرر الاحتياطي الفيدرالي في اجتماعه بتاريخ 17 يونيو 2026، وبإجماع 12 صوتًا مقابل 0، الإبقاء على معدل الفائدة المستهدف دون تغيير ضمن نطاق 3.50% إلى 3.75%. كما بقيت المعدلات الرئيسية الأخرى، بما في ذلك فائدة الاحتياطيات البنكية، ومعدل الخصم، وعمليات الريبو والريبو العكسي، ثابتة.

وأكد البيان أن الاقتصاد الأمريكي يواصل النمو رغم حالة عدم اليقين الناتجة عن التوترات الجيوسياسية، بينما لا يزال سوق العمل في وضع متوازن ونمو الوظائف يتماشى مع نمو القوى العاملة. في المقابل، يبقى التضخم أعلى من هدف 2%، متأثرًا جزئيًا بصدمات العرض وارتفاع أسعار الطاقة.
