Խոր ափսոսանքով տեղեկացնում ենք, որ այս տարի Sevan Startup Summit 2021-ը չի կայանա տարածքը չտրամադրելու պատճառով։ Մոտ երկու ամիս տևած բանակցությունների արդյունքում պետության համապատասխան գերատեսչությունները նպատակահարմար չեն համարում բոլորիդ հայտնի սամմիթի տարածքը մեզ տրամադրել միջոցառումը կազմակերպելու համար։ Մենք չենք ցանկանում մեկնաբանել պատկան մարմինների որոշումը, սակայն ներկայացվող հիմնավորումները համարում ենք առնվազն պատճառաբանություն, քանի որ մեր միջոցառման ֆորմատի մեջ նախորդ տարիների համեմատությամբ ոչինչ չի փոխվել։
Տվյալ տարածքը 2009-2019թթ. եղել է մեր թիմի իրականացրած վրանային հավաքների, իսկ 2016-2019թթ. Sevan Startup Summit-ի մշտական տարածքը։ Այդ տարիների ընթացքում այնտեղ մեր կողմից իրականացվել է բարեկարգման և մաքրման հսկայական ծավալի աշխատանք։ Մենք գնահատում ենք, որ տվյալ որոշման արդյունքում սամմիթի չեղարկումը հարված է ամբողջ հայաստանյան ստարտափ էկոհամակարգին։ Հաշվի առնելով սամմիթի մասնակիցների աշխարհագրությունը (SSS19-ին եղել են մասնակիցներ 45 երկրից)՝ վնաս է հասցվում նաև Հայաստանին՝ որպես ստարտափները և տեղեկատվական տեխնոլոգիաները տնտեսության մեջ գերակա ուղղություններ հայտարարած երկրի։
Կցանկանայինք նշել, որ 2016-2019թթ. մենք հյուրընկալել ենք ՀՀ բոլոր բարձրաստիճան պաշտոնյաներին, որոնք առանց բառացության իրենց հիացմունքն են արտահայտել սամմիթի, թե՛ ֆորմատի և թե՛ բովանդակության վերաբերյալ։
Ինչևէ, Seaside Startup Suumit-ը շարունակելու է իր գործունեությունը։ Այս երկու տարիների ընթացքում սամմիթի հիմնական ձևաչափից զատ մշակվել են մի քանի այլընտրանքային ձևաչափեր՝ SSS Holidays, SSS Weekend, SSS VR, SSS Game և այլն։ Աշխարհի տարբեր ծովափնյա վայրերում սամմիթի հիմնական և նոր մշակված ձևաչափերով միջոցառումների անցկացումը այժմ քննարկվում է մեր միջազգային գործընկերների հետ տարբեր ուղղություններով՝ Ռուսաստան, ԱՄՆ, ԱՄԷ, Հնդկաստան, Արգենտինա և այլն։

Dear followers, colleagues, SSS fans
We are very sorry to inform you that Sevan Startup Summit 2021 is cancelled because our access to the venue area was denied. After almost two months of negotiations, relevant state bodies have found it unfitting to provide us with the venue area for the Summit beloved by everyone. We do not wish to interpret this decision in any way, however, we consider the reasons to be mere justification because the format of our event has not changed during the last few years.
The venue area has been the permanent place for our team’s tent camps during 2009-2019, and then the permanent place for Sevan Startup Summit in 2016-2019. During these years, we have conducted significant cleaning and maintenance of the area at our own expense. We reckon the cancellation of the Summit as a result of this decision will negatively affect the entire Armenian startup ecosystem. Taking into account the extended geography of the summit participants (people from 45 different countries have participated in 2019), Armenia, as a country that has claimed startup and IT orientations to be vital for its economy, will also suffer.
We would like to mention that during 2016-2019 we have hosted high-ranking officials of the Republic of Armenia, all of whom, without exception, have expressed their awe for both the format and the content of the summit.
In any case, Seaside Startup Summit will continue its activity. During these two years, several alternative formats to the main Summit have been developed, such as SSS Holidays, SSS Weekend, SSS VR, SSS Game and others. We are discussing the organization of Summit’s main and newly developed formats on various coastal parts of the world with our international partners on different levels: Russia, United States, UAE, India, Argentina, etc.
