I just want to share my typing experience from the 2023 Mains exam. The backspace key was working very badly—after pressing it 2–3 times, it worked only once. Because of this, after 8 minutes only 40% of my typing was completed, as a lot of time was getting wasted due to the backspace issue.

Then I started panicking, thinking that the exam had gone so well but I might get eliminated because of the typing test. I took a 5-second pause and told myself that I could do it. After that, I just focused on typing because my speed is good, around 40 WPM. I completed the entire typing in the 13 minutes, and then used the last 2 minutes to make all the corrections.
