St. Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC) celebrated World Pharmacists Day 2026 on September 25, 2026, under the theme “Empowering Pharmacists for a Healthier Future.”
As part of the celebration, a presentation entitled “The Impact of Social Media on Pharmacy Practice” was delivered by Dr. Mebratu Eyasu (PhD, Assistant Professor), and served as a platform for reflection and discussion on the opportunities and challenges of social media in contemporary pharmacy practice.
The presentation was followed by a fruitful and engaging discussion among the participants. Overall, the event was celebrated in a vibrant and colorful manner, recognizing the dedication, professionalism, and valuable contributions of pharmacists to patient care and public health.
