The ban had nothing at all to do with 'protecting foreign reserves.' Nor is the [Sri Lankan] tea industry being hit by the 'economic crisis.' The ban was a deliberate policy decision by the President, as part of his climate change agenda.
This was what he had to say at COP26 climate summit on October 31st, 2021.
"Nitrogen is an abundant element that is essential to the sustenance of all living things.
However, reactive nitrogen generated by human activity and released into ecosystems worsens climate change.
Overuse of nitrogen, especially in fertilisers, has adverse impacts on soil, water, air, and human health.
For decades, chronic kidney disease has been a serious issue in Sri Lanka’s agricultural heartland.
The overuse of chemical fertilisers has contributed significantly to this problem.
It is in this context that my Government took firm steps to reduce imports of chemical fertilizer, and strongly encourage organic agriculture."

Keep people divided, drugged up, wasted, drunk, traumatized and repeating the patterns of their dysfunctional lineage to keep them embedded in the slave state they are in.
Keep them envious of one another.
Normalize sin, chaos and dysfunctional behaviors and ideals.
Promote a culture of addictions and trauma that children will be so programmed by they will pass onto their own kids.
Teach them to be reactive instead of responsive. Engender a culture of doing what feels right in the moment and instant gratification instead of looking at long term planning, consequences and how your giving into short term impulses may hurt you in the long run.
Keep them in such a state of survival that their emotional empathy is shut off.
Break down the family system so everyone is on their own and children will more than likely repeat the same patterns in their own families.
Keep them in a helpless victim state so they become dependent on you and things outside of them to help them.
Keep them away from God and below the veil of consciousness.
That’s how you create and perpetuate a slave state and zombified nation and at the same time, get people to actually participate and fight for the depopulation agenda you are running against them.
