It is the anniversary of the Assassination of Codreanu. Though not a Catholic the depth of this man’s faith and struggle is a lesson and inspiration to all. If you have not read “For My Legionaries” you must not hesitate to do so. Be inspired by the sacrifice of the Iron Guard in their brave fight against an oppressive system which was never shy about breaking its own laws, torture, and in the end assassination to accomplish its goals.
Today we remember that the oppression we face from the “Democratic” system is not new and that we have a long and proud patrimony against it.

In 1094 or 1095, Alexios I Komnenos, the Byzantine emperor, sent to the pope, Urban II, and asked for aid from the west against the Seljuq Turks, who taken nearly all of Asia Minor from him. At the council of Clermont Urban addressed a great crowd and urged all to go to the aid of the Greeks and to recover Palestine from the rule of the Muslims.
