Provocations to rupture and the power to act

Just like any other social construct, capitalism is created and reinforced by ideas, people and institutions. What social movements are doing every day is building a power from below to counter the ideas and practices of the neoliberal empire. This is true of activists, scholars and movements theorizing and calling for specific and immediate economic action. This is also true of movements, activists and scholars whose focus is not explicitly tied to economics but whose work nonetheless disrupts the logarithms that capital depends on to reproduce itself and yields processes which are critical to actualizing new economies.

They Can't Respond to 1000 Simultaneous Events - Decentralized Strategy

[Forwarded from Dom]
Remember everybody: the police are well suited for centralized military assault. They have the man power to take on 1000 protestors, even more.

But they can't respond very effectively to 1000 simultaneous events. They can't function without centralized instructions. Because they need hierarchy to function. That's why we're better, with our lack of hierarchy.

Feds are even less capable of managing multiple events, their troop force spread across the country already will dilute their abilities. Portland proved that disciplined and coordinated activists in just the dozens can take on federal agents.

Everyone should be focused on building and cultivating their affinity group. Can be just 6 people, it can be more. Y'all can decide what kind of stuff you want to do, how you want to protest, resist, or cause some good trouble.

No leaders means diversity of tactics. No leaders means we give what we can, with our unique skills, to the effort of fighting Authoritarianism.
