Calling all allies and accomplices to the Plaza on occupied Tewa land in ‘Ogap’oge.
Let there be no confusion, the occupation of the Santa Fe Plaza IS HAPPENING SATURDAY, 10/10 – MONDAY 10/12. We MUST have critical mass Monday.
Spread the word and let’s follow through on the original ask.
This is a decentralized event. No group is spearheading. We listen to and meet the demands of native folx.
Tents will be set up Saturday evening following the end of the first day of the occupation.
There will be a schedule of events that will be released as needed and we will convene regularly to make sure everyone has current information.
If you intend on camping be prepared for two nights (Saturday and Sunday night). Bring the basics for your own self-sufficiency (suggested items below).
The occupation will culminate to a day of action Monday at 12pm.
There is a call for medics, security, artists and willing folx for the entire weekend, and especially Monday 12pm onwards.
It is mandatory to follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask.
Supplies that will be helpful to bring:
Extra hand sanitizer
Extra masks
Food (snacks and meals)
Camping gear (tent, sleeping pad, pillow)
Water
Bowl and utensil
Warm clothing (rain)
Clothing to obscure identity
Personal medications and personal hygiene supplies
Comfort items to make you feel safe (instruments, a book, art supplies, skateboard etc)
