קבוצת הטלגרם "בני ארץ" כללה טקסטים נגד שמאלנים, ערבים, האופוזיציה, הצבא ומערכת המשפט והודהדו בה פוסטים וציוצים של מובילי דעת קהל מהימין, לצד סרטוני קמפיין לארגון חדש שעובד בשטח ופועל "להצלת העם" אלא שמי שעומד מאחוריה הם לא פעילי ימין - אלא המודיעין האיראני. המטרה: לייצר כאוס ולגייס סוכנים ישראלים, תוך מצג שווא שמדובר בארגון ש"נאבק בשמאל". אחד מהם נשלח בתחילה לחלק פלאיירים של הארגון ואחר כך לעקוב אחר ח"כ לשעבר מוסי רז. אחרי המשימות האלו המפעיל האיראני "אבי" שלח את הסוכן לעקוב אחר ראש השב"כ לשעבר רונן בר בנימוק שהוא נגד נוער הגבעות. בשלב הזה הישראלי שהופעל כבר הבין שהוא לא מבצע משימות בעבור פעילי ימין.

The Telegram group “Bnei Eretz” (“Sons of the Land”) featured texts attacking leftists, Arabs, the opposition, the military and the judicial system. It also amplified posts and tweets by prominent right-wing opinion leaders, alongside campaign videos promoting a new organization operating on the ground and claiming to be working “to save the people.”
But those behind the group were not right-wing activists — they were Iranian intelligence operatives.
The objective: to create chaos and recruit Israeli agents, while creating the false impression that this was an organization “fighting the Left.”
One Israeli recruited by the network was initially sent to distribute the organization’s flyers and was later instructed to surveil former MK Mossi Raz.
After completing those assignments, the Iranian handler, who called himself “Avi,” instructed the Israeli agent to surveil former Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar, claiming that Bar was acting against the Settlers.
At that point, the recruited Israeli realized that the assignments he was carrying out were not actually being conducted on behalf of right-wing activists.
