המנהיג העליון של איראן, מוג'תבא ח'אמנאי, פרסם צו הממנה את מוחסן רזאי לנציגו במועצה העליונה לביטחון לאומי.
בצו נכתב כי רזאי נבחר לתפקיד בזכות "ניסיונו רב הערך" ובשל ניסיונו במהלך מלחמת איראן–עיראק שנמשכה שמונה שנים.
מוג'תבא ח'אמנאי הביע תקווה כי רזאי יצליח במילוי האחריות שהוטלה עליו.

עוד לא למד לחגור חגורה וכבר יש תקווה...שלא ימצא את עצמו עם המכנסיים למטה.

Iran's Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, has issued an order appointing Mohsen Rezaei as his representative on the Supreme National Security Council.

The order states that Rezaei was chosen for the position due to his "valuable experience" and his experience during the eight-year Iran-Iraq war.
Mojtaba Khamenei expressed hope that Rezaei will succeed in fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to him.

He hasn't even learned to fasten his belt yet and there is already hope...

מדינה באזור יעצה למדינה אחרת ללכת להסכם עם ישראל ובזמן הזה להתארגן לעימות גדול יותר. פירוט: גורמים באחת ממדינות האזור ייעצו לגורמים במדינה אחרת להתגמש טקטית וללכת להסכם עם ישראל - "כדי להרדים" אותה בזמן הכנות לעימות גדול יותר נגדה.
בהידברות בין הצדדים אמרו הגורמים באותה מדינה באזור לבני שיחם ממדינה אחרת כי צריך ללכת להסכם על מנת להפר אותו לאחר מכן כשבמקביל הם יתכוננו למלחמה. מכלול הדברים מציירים תמונה מטרידה באשר לכוונותיהן של אותן מדינות באזור. באשר לזהות המדינות, לא ניתן לפרט עליהן כיוון שאנחנו נתונים למגבלות קפדניות של הצנזורה.

The following report has been cleared by the military censor after months of requests:

Lulling Israel into complacency while preparing for war:

During discussions between officials from countries in the region regarding a possible agreement with Israel, the possibility was raised of making tactical concessions in order to reach an agreement — and later violating it.

The objective: reach an agreement now, and when the time is right — go to war.

One country in the region advised another country to reach an agreement with Israel and use the time to prepare for a larger confrontation.
Specifically, officials from one regional country advised officials from another to show tactical flexibility and reach an agreement with Israel "in order to lull it into complacency" while simultaneously preparing for a larger confrontation against it.
During talks between the two sides, officials from one country told their counterparts in the other that they should enter into an agreement with the intention of violating it later, while using the intervening period to prepare for war.
Taken together, these statements paint a troubling picture regarding the intentions of those countries in the region.
As for the identities of the countries involved, they cannot be disclosed due to strict military censorship restrictions.
