הבוקר, החות'ים הוציאו מתקפת טילים בליסטיים וכטב"מים מתאבדים על יעדים תימניים הנתמכים ע"י ערב הסעודית במארבּ (בעיגול). פעולה זו הובילה לעשרות הרוגים שהיו בהכנות לקראת מערכה קרקעית אפשרית נגד החות'ים.

הפעולה הבוקר נועדה להיות מתקפת מנע על מנת להרתיע מלהוציא מבצע קרקעי נגד החות'ים.

העיר מארב, מהווה יעד מאד אסטרטגי בעיני שני הצדדים. שימו לב למיקום שלה במפה. סוג של קוץ אנטי-חות'י קרוב לצנעא, שהחות'ים עצמם לא הצליחו לכבוש לפני מספר שנים.
היתרון החות'י הוא המספרים, החימושים, הבידוד היחסי של העיר, ותנועת מלקחיים מובנית מאז כניסת הפסקת אש באזור ב-2022 (עם תום קרב מארבּ).

כיבוש מארב יוביל למצב שכמעט כל צפון תימן תיפול לידיים של החות'ים, עם כל המשאבים הטבעיים (גז ונפט) בידיהם.

Earlier today, the Houthis launched a barrage of ballistic missiles and suicide drones against Saudi-backed Yemeni forces in Marib (circled on the map). The attack reportedly caused dozens of casualties among forces preparing for a possible ground offensive against the Houthis.
The strike appears to have been a preemptive attack intended to deter any Saudi-backed ground operation.
Marib remains one of the most strategically important cities in Yemen. Its location makes it a major anti-Houthi stronghold close to Sana'a—a city the Houthis failed to capture several years ago.
The Houthis' advantages include superior manpower, extensive weapon stockpiles, the city's relative isolation, and favorable operational positioning that has developed since the 2022 ceasefire following the Battle of Marib.
Capturing Marib would place almost all of northern Yemen—including its significant oil and gas resources—under Houthi control.
Regional tensions continue to escalate. Today's strike is expected to make Saudi Arabia even more cautious in its strategic confrontation with Ansar Allah (the Houthis), particularly as Iran-backed Iraqi militias have now joined the confrontation.

Our strategy is to keep the Strait of Hormuz closed until the enemy agrees to all of our conditions.
The war against Iran is the only war in which the United States admitted defeat without achieving any gains.
Persistent resistance and the destruction of the enemy are our permanent strategy, and that strategy cannot be changed.
We forced the enemy to quickly abandon all of its objectives and seek the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
