המשחק בין מצרים לארגנטינה אתמול היה אירוע מסוג אחר... מצרים - האנדרדוג הערבי, הפתיעה את ארגנטינה והובילה 2:0 אחרי 67 דקות משחק.

החגיגות בעזה, בכפרים הפלסטינים באיו"ש ובכלל בעולם הערבית היו חסרות תקדים. הם לא האמינו שזה קורה - הרגישו על האולימפוס וכבר הרגישו שהמשחק שלהם...
אבל ארגנטינה הצליחה להפוך את הקערה על פיה ולנצח בסופו של דבר 3:2 - מפל הציפיות והאכזבה היו קשים מנשוא מבחינת הערבים.

מספיק לראות את תגובת מאמן נבחרת מצרים בסרטונים המצורפים כדי להבין את עוצמת התסכול.
המאמן המצרי סימן לשופטים שגנבו לו את המשחק - וחטף כרטיס צהוב. המאמן אף נתפס יורק לעבר הקהל ומקלל: F*ck you

בחלק מהערוצים הערבים פרסמו את הסרטונים רק של שני השערים שכבשה מצרים - ואז הפסיקו -(לי זה הזכיר את הדרך שבה מציגים במצרים רק את החלק הראשון של מלחמת יום כיפור - עד המהפך....) - קשה להם להכיל כשלונות.

Yesterday's match between Egypt and Argentina was unlike any other. Egypt, the Arab underdog, shocked Argentina by taking a 2–0 lead after 67 minutes.
Celebrations erupted across Gaza, Palestinian villages in the West Bank, and much of the Arab world. Many believed the impossible was happening and that victory was within reach.
But Argentina staged a dramatic comeback, winning 3–2 and eliminating Egypt. The emotional swing from euphoria to disappointment was difficult for many supporters to absorb.
Just watch the Egyptian head coach's reaction in the attached videos. He repeatedly signaled that the referees had "stolen" the match, earning himself a yellow card. He was also caught appearing to spit toward the crowd while shouting, "F**k you."
Some Arab channels reportedly shared only the two Egyptian goals before stopping their coverage altogether. It reminded me of how Egyptian media often focus only on the opening phase of the 1973 war, before the tide turned.

Whoever does not feel the suffering of the Palestinians is not a human being.

In the United States, when an animal dies, the world is outraged over human rights and animal rights. But when Palestinians are killed, nobody cares.
