ניסיון פיגוע בלוד - שוטרי מחוז מרכז נטרלו מפגע שניסה על פי החשד לדקור לוחם יס"מ

לפני זמן קצר, זיהתה ניידת מתחנת לוד חשוד האוחז בסכין וקראה לו לעצור. החשוד החל בריצה לעבר צוות לוחמי יס"מ שפעלו במקום, ועל פי החשד ניסה לדקור את אחד הלוחמים.

הלוחם ביצע ירי לעבר המפגע ונטרל אותו. אין נפגעים בקרב כוחותינו.

כוחות גדולים של מחוז מרכז נמצאים בזירה, מבודדים את המקום ואוספים ממצאים. מפקד מחוז מרכז, ניצב אמיר כהן, עושה את דרכו לזירה.

כנראה מדובר בערבי תושב לוד שישב בכלא על עבירות נשק, לפי זיהוי ראשוני של הכוחות בשטח
