השיחות בין ישראל ללבנון מתמקדות בהצעה הנתמכת על ידי ארה"ב, לפיה כוחות ישראליים ימסרו חלקים מהשטח שנכבש במהלך המלחמה עם #חיזבאללה🌟 לצבא לבנון.

כוחות לבנוניים שיוצבו באזורים אלה יעברו אימונים ובדיקות אמריקאיות כדי לוודא שאינם קשורים לחיזבאללה, בעוד שישראל תשמור על נוכחות צבאית באזור חיץ בגבול. ההצעה נדונה כפרויקט "פיילוט" במהלך סבב השיחות האחרון בוושינגטון.

גורם ביטחון בכיר לבנוני אישר כי הדיונים מתקיימים ואמר כי השיחות בין הצבאות יתמקדו בלוחות הזמנים של הנסיגה.

כל הסדר סופי צפוי להיבחן לאחר סיום השיחות ביום חמישי.

1. על צבא לבנון להשתלט על רכס עלי אל-טאהר, להוציא משם את לוחמי חיזבאללה ולהרוס את תשתיות חיזבאללה באזור הנמצא תחת שליטה אמריקאית. לאחר השלמת דרישות אלו, צה"ל ייסוג מהכפרים תבנית וזוטאר.

2. גופת הטייס רון ארד תמורת אסירים של חיזבאללה המוחזקים בישראל (הישראלים הכחישו דיווח זה אתמול).

3. ישראל תישאר בתוך "אזור הביטחון" - כל גישה לבנונית לשטח זה, הן אזרחים והן אנשי צבא לבנונים, תיאסר.

4. הקשר בין צה"ל לצבא לבנון יהיה ישיר - "ללא מתווכים" (כלומר, ללא יוניפי"ל - האו"ם).

Talks between Israel and Lebanon are focused on a U.S.-backed proposal under which Israeli forces would hand over parts of the territory captured during the war with #Hezbollah🌟 to the Lebanese Army.

Lebanese troops deployed to these areas would undergo U.S. training and vetting to ensure they have no ties to Hezbollah, while Israel would maintain a military presence in a border buffer zone. The proposal was discussed as a "pilot project" during the latest round of talks in Washington.
A senior Lebanese security official confirmed that the discussions are taking place and said that talks between the two militaries will focus on the timeline for the withdrawal.
Any final arrangement is expected to be considered only after the talks conclude on Thursday.

The Lebanese Army must take control of the Ali al-Taher Ridge area, remove Hezbollah operatives from the area, and dismantle Hezbollah's infrastructure there under American supervision. Once this is completed, the IDF will withdraw from the villages of Tebnit and Zawtar.
The return of the remains of Israeli Air Force navigator Ron Arad in exchange for Hezbollah prisoners held in Israel (Israeli officials denied this report yesterday).
Israel will remain in the “security zone,” and all access to this area will be prohibited for Lebanese citizens as well as members of the Lebanese Armed Forces.
Communication between the IDF and the Lebanese Army will be direct, “without intermediaries” (meaning without UNIFIL or the United Nations).

הניסיון התעמולתי של קאציר להמציא סד"כ איראני מנופח נועד להצדיק את "איחוד הזירות" של "ציר ההתנגדות", ולהוכיח שטהראן לא רק שלא הפקירה את חיזבאללה - אלא ממש נלחמת לצידו בשטח. בפועל, השקר הגס הזה הפך אותו ללעג ולקלס באולפן.

​אולם בלבנון, מתנגדי הארגון לקחו את הדברים ברצינות מוחלטת. תנועת "הכוחות הלבנוניים" ופעילים באופוזיציה הגדירו את הפליטה הזו כ"הודאה בכיבוש צבאי איראני", דרשו להעמידו לדין וקראו לממשלה לחקור מיד את נוכחות הלוחמים הזרים במדינה.

50,000 Iranian soldiers fighting in southern Lebanon? 10,000 of them killed in the battles for the Ali al-Taher Ridge?

There are 50,000 Iranians fighting in southern Lebanon right now... and I can confirm that there are around 10,000 Iranian martyrs whose funerals are being prepared. We are waiting for the airport to reopen.

50,000 Iranian soldiers?! Right now?! We're talking about proxies, not regular Iranian troops...

Is the Lebanese state even aware that there are foreign fighters operating on its territory?

Qasir's apparent attempt to inflate the size of the Iranian presence was likely intended to reinforce the narrative of the so-called "Axis of Resistance" and to demonstrate that Tehran has not abandoned Hezbollah, but is actively fighting alongside it on the ground. In practice, however, the claim was so extreme that it became the subject of ridicule in the studio.
In Lebanon, however, Hezbollah's opponents took the remarks very seriously. Members of the Lebanese Forces and opposition activists described the statement as an "admission of an Iranian military occupation," called for Qasir to be prosecuted, and urged the government to immediately investigate the alleged presence of foreign fighters in the country.
Bottom Line
While these figures appear highly implausible and unsupported, the more significant issue is the widely reported de facto presence of hundreds of senior officers and advisers from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps who are believed to assist and advise Hezbollah's military operations behind the scenes.
