מומחים צבאיים אמריקאים אמרו לי שאם לא אפגע באיראן בזמן, ישראל לא תהיה קיימת. עשיתי מה שאף נשיא אחר לא היה מוכן לעשות. הם עשו טעויות, ואני מתקן אותן. המשטר באיראן סירב לכל ניסיון להגיע להסכם, ומסיבה זו הוריתי על פתיחת מבצע 'פטיש חצות' ביוני. האיראנים היו קרובים להחזיק בטילים שיכלו להגיע לארצות הברית ולאירופה. היו להם נשק קטלני ביותר, ולקחנו אותם.

אני שמח לומר שהיעדים האסטרטגיים המרכזיים שלנו באיראן מתקרבים להשלמה.

U.S. military experts told me that if I didn’t strike Iran in time, Israel would not exist. I did what no other president was willing to do. They made mistakes, and I am correcting them. The regime in Iran refused every attempt to reach a deal, and for that reason I ordered the launch of Operation ‘Midnight Hammer’ in June. The Iranians were close to having missiles that could reach the United States and Europe. They had extremely lethal weapons, and we took them away.

I am pleased to say that our core strategic objectives in Iran are nearing completion.

I want to thank our allies: Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

We will not let them get hurt.

We are going to finish the job. We are going to finish it very fast.

We are getting very close.

We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next 2–3 weeks.

We are going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong.

If there is no deal, we are going to hit each and every one of their electric generating plants very hard, and probably simultaneously.
