The same Trump who, back in 1987, called for taking control of Iran’s “oil island” to curb its destabilizing behavior and bring stability to the global energy sector is now the most powerful leader in the world, with the most capable military at his disposal to achieve that very objective.

Most of the military assets required for this mission are already in place. Much of the enemy’s ability to counter such a move has been either eliminated or severely degraded.

There is no doubt that Trump's statements are only intended to stabilize the energy market and buy time.

Since the start of Operation Roaring Lion, hundreds of Israeli Air Force combat aircraft have been operating in Iranian airspace, striking targets of the Iranian terror regime.
Aerial refueling is a critical component of the Air Force’s operations over Iran, enabling sustained air superiority in the area over time.

Air Force tanker aircraft support the combat aircraft and have conducted approximately 2,000 aerial refuelings.
