פרטי התקרית אמש בדרום לבנון שבה נפלו 4 לוחמי הנח״ל:

- צוות הקרב של חטיבת הנח"ל פועל בפיקוד אוגדה 162 בגזרה המערבית בהתקפה על מנת להשיג שליטה מבצעית בדרום לבנון.
* אתמול (ב'), בסביבות השעה 18:30 כוחות סיירת נח"ל זיהו חוליות מחבלים והתפתחה היתקלות מטווח קצר.
* במהלך ההיתקלות, התפתחו חילופי ירי בין הכוחות למחבלים. הכוחות השיבו באש, זוהו פגיעות במחבלים.
* כמו כן, במהלך ההיתקלות נפגעו הלוחמים ובמקביל, הכוחות החלו בפינוי נפגעים לעבר מנחת ייעודי.
* במהלך פעולות הפינוי, המחבלים ירו טיל נ"ט לעבר הכוחות, ללא נפגעים נוספים.
* הכוחות השיבו באש, בירי טנקים ובתקיפות מהאוויר לעבר המחבלים.

Attached is an IDF announcement regarding the names of three fallen soldiers whose families have been notified.

In the incident in which Captain Noam Madmoni, Staff Sergeant Ben Cohen, and Staff Sergeant Maxsim Entis fell, one additional soldier fell. His family has been notified, and his name has yet to be cleared for publication.

Additionally, a soldier was severely injured, and a reservist was moderately injured in the incident.

The injured soldiers were evacuated to hospital to receive medical treatment, and their families have been notified.

A high-profile diplomatic dispute is unfolding in Lebanon over one of the most prominent Mossad agents arrested in recent years, Khaled al-Ayda, a Palestinian-Syrian national holding Ukrainian citizenship, who is wanted by Lebanese judicial authorities on multiple arrest warrants related to involvement in bombings, assassination plots, and killings targeting #Hezbollah🌟 terrorists between 2024 and 2025.

Lebanese security investigations link him to a Mossad network operated by Israeli intelligence, including plans to carry out attacks in Beirut’s southern suburbs and an attempted assassination at Beirut's Rafic Hariri International Airport. Al-Aida was present in Dahieh, Beirut, on the day of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah's assassination. He was also the lead that led General Security to arrest members of the terrorist cell recruited by Mossad. He was caught red-handed with an explosive device hidden in a motorcycle he intended to park in Dahieh, for later detonation. Al-Ayda also headed a network preparing an assassination operation targeting the head of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, Ali Larijani, upon his arrival at Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport to participate in the ceremony held at Nasrallah’s shrine on the Airport Road.

He was detained by Hezbollah’s security apparatus, but escaped amid chaos during Israeli airstrikes near the prison where he was being held and subsequently took refuge inside the Ukrainian embassy, which has since provided him protection.

Lebanese authorities have formally requested his handover, describing the case as a sovereign judicial matter, while the embassy has reportedly sought to facilitate his departure abroad despite his wanted status. The case has escalated into a broader diplomatic and political controversy, with external pressure to enable his exit and concerns over potential smuggling out of the country.

The leadership in Iran is fragmented and dispersed, struggling to make decisions and coordinate large-scale attacks and responses, according to intelligence assessments from the United States and other Western countries. Leaders who have survived are finding it difficult to meet or communicate, fearing strikes by Israel or the United States, or interception of their communications.

According to American sources, more hardline elements within the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have recently gained greater influence than usual, and are even exerting more power than the religious leadership that is formally supposed to be in charge. However, it remains unclear whether there is anyone capable of reaching an agreement, or able to persuade other factions to accept it.

Former U.S. officials estimate that Iran will only agree to a deal once it experiences significant economic damage from the war. Despite the heavy damage already sustained, Iran may not yet feel that it is losing, according to these assessments.

It is also unclear to what extent Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei controls the leadership, and some intelligence officials believe he may serve largely as a symbolic figure, while the remaining IRGC leadership is making the actual decisions.

Senior U.S. officials say that Iran’s command-and-control systems have been severely damaged. However, even before the war, Iran had developed a decentralized structure that allows field commanders to make decisions without daily directives from higher القيادة.

Iran has been unable to launch large missile barrages capable of overwhelming defense systems, and instead regional commands are forced to carry out counterattacks without coordination between them.

American officials said that the Iranian government is unable to coordinate a response to proposals from the United States—leading to frustration for President Trump.

Israeli officials added that Iran’s communication problems are somewhat similar to those seen during negotiations for the release of hostages in Gaza, where proposals were passed through Hamas leadership in Qatar and then relayed in writing to Gaza in a slow and cumbersome process.

Trump is ready to end the war against Iran even without opening the Strait of Hormuz.

It is noted that in recent days, Trump and his aides have concluded that an attempt to open the narrow passage in the strait would prolong the conflict beyond his plan, which is designed for four to six weeks.

For this reason, Trump decided that the US should achieve its main goals: weaken the Iranian naval fleet and missile reserves, and end the current hostilities, while exerting diplomatic pressure on Tehran to resume the free flow of trade.

If this fails, Washington will insist that allies in Europe and the Persian Gulf countries take the initiative in resuming the operation of the strait.
