בשבוע שעבר, שליחי לבלארוס, ג'ון קואל, לאחר משא ומתן עם הנשיא הנכבד אלכסנדר לוקשנקו, הצליח לשחרר 250 אסירים פוליטיים נוספים!

Last week, my Envoy to Belarus, John Coale, after negotiating with Highly Respected President Alexander Lukashenko, got 250 more Political Prisoners freed!

This brings the total Prisoners gracefully released by President Lukashenko to well over 500, since last May.

The removal of the material would likely require an elite Special Forces team, specially trained to remove radioactive material from combat zones. The highly enriched uranium is likely stored in 40 to 50 special tanks that resemble diving balloons. They would need to be placed in special transport tanks to protect them from accidents. “That could fill several trucks,” said Richard Nephew, President Biden’s deputy national security adviser. If no flight path is available, a makeshift route will need to be set up to bring in equipment and remove the nuclear material. The entire operation could take days or even a week.
